Emily Violet This is a 10/10. The UK has such a surfeit of hard rock talent and I can't wait to see where the '50 Years Later' series goes next. Favorite track: Halo of Flies.

mannes66 I had a life-size star cut of Alice Cooper at the wall in my parents house from the Bravo in the 70's! How great is this 50 years later!

SabbathJeff This first in a purported annual series paying tribute to a half century old album is, well...painstakingly assembled & executed meticulously. Some tracks hover closer to their original counterparts than others, but each has its charms to & taken in as a whole, the CD really, ahem, kills. Great stuff from all personnel, & thanks to Pale Wizard for doing this. No idea what tribute is next, but you had me at '72!

Adrian Wills For some reason mine was delivered early. It’s awesome though. Green Lung make mincemeat of Under My Wheels. A simply fantastic cover which was my main reason for buying (other than I love the original album, obviously). The rest of the album is equally awesome. It’s amazing from start to finish!

Atom Zombie This album landed on my doormat yesterday! You can feel the the love for the Coop and for the Killer album. The bonus tracks (4 more classic Coop tunes) are great too! Truly a fitting tribute to a great band and album, but also a fantastic showcase of some of the best of the Uk’s underground doom / fuzz / desert / stoner bands!

about

Alice Cooper’s 4th album, Killer, was released on November 27th 1971 and has gone on to become one of the most loved albums in the whole discography. Exactly 50 Years Later, Pale Wizard Records brings you an exciting line up featuring some of the most renowned bands in the underground scene today paying homage to Killer in their own contemporary styles.

“Every track delivers-no exceptions.” – The Whole Kameeze

"The album at hand is a genuine delight for a long-time fan of Alice Cooper. Surely, followers of the contemporary contributing bands will also be glad to hear these tracks that are new for them. Highly recommended." - Flying Fiddle Sticks

"There is not a single track you want to skip, it’s classic rock in a modern format combined with some hard rock almost blending into metal. Put on your headphones, turn on your speakers and blast this out loud." - John's Music Hub

"What I love about this album is that there are no out of place versions of the songs. Each track is shown the respect it deserves and the bands are picked perfectly to craft their own unique take." - Rockzilla Reviews

“The whole project is an absolute treasure. Each band is in imperious, impassioned and killer form as they pay respect to one of the greatest performers ever.” – At The Barrier
